A gothic revival bronze and brass bracket clock with a 5-inch silvered convex Roman dial, bell-striking twin-fusee movement the case of crocketed lancet-arched design, pierced with quatrefoils, on a rectangular base and cast scroll feet. Made in the 1830’s this clock case is of an attractive two tone design, in the gothic revival tradition
 
there is an example of a similar clock in the metropolitan museum of art in New York in the gothic revival library gallery 740.
