N Wilson Antiques Clocks has dated this French Ormolu Mantel Clock to the 19th Century.
The clock then has a fantastic selection of brass boulle mounts to the sides, and a fabulous finial to the top. The case is then fishing by four beautiful ormolu feet.

The clock then has its own stand painted in the same colour with flowers to the front, and sides. The base is also finished by four lovely shaped, ormolu feet.
The dial is then brass with a lovely shaped centre. The hours are then set out in blue roman numerals on small enamel panels. The dial is then finished by two nicely shaped hands, as well as a domed glass in a brass bezel.

The movement then ticks and chimes as it should. It comes complete with pendulum and strikes once on the half past as well as the number of hours on the hour via a bell. The movement is then stamped for the maker “Marti”.
