Very Attractive Ormolu (Gilt Bronze) mid 19th Century Figural Clock on Stand In Glass Dome with Sevre Style Dial & Panels. The 8 Day Bell Striking (Hours and Half Hours) is by the renowned clock maker Japy Frils. It is stamped 1855 And celebrates their Gold Medal Awards from 1844-1849. The Movement has been Checked, Oiled and Tested to be in Full & Good Antique Condition.
Please note that under close examination, one side panel has hairline cracks as has the dial which has also been touched up. Height of Clock 11in. Clock, Stand and Dome 17.5in or 44cm. Viewing always welcome.
