Masons Antiques has dated this Gothic Revival Bracket Clock to the 1880s.
(Pictures 2 & 3 give the clearest indication of it's true colour). It contrasts beautifully with the 6" silvered dial that has a cast brass bezel and thick bevelled glass.

To the sides are brass lancet sound frets with blue cotton background that replicate cathedral style windows.
The 8 day, 3 train movement has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff. It strikes the quarters on 8 bells and the hours on a seperate gong.
A key lockable, sound fretted, rear door.
A one-off indeed.
