A pretty pair of French bedside cabinets of excellent quality.
C1890.
Very similar in design, constructed from walnut in the Rococo style.
Under these are single drawers over a cabinet door. Having pretty floral and shell carvings to the front of one of the cabinets. The other has similar carvings to the sides below the moulded edge, with the drawer and door front with scroll applied mouldings. The carvings on both cabinets are of excellent quality.
The doors open to reveal a storage area. One cabinet has a white marble base, and the other cabinet has a completely marbled interior.
Standing on elegant long cabriole legs, with acanthus carved knees.
The condition is excellent antique condition. Minor signs of age and use. The rouge marble top to the left side cabinet has had historical repairs, which are very subtle.
Lovely colour and warm patination to the walnut.
Solid, sturdy and strong.

The right side cabinet-Height-83.5cm-Width-40.3cm-Depth-40.3cm.
