Pair of Sheraton Revival Painted Cabinets

1900 - 1920
Description

Unusual pair of painted cabinets in the Sheraton style , the cabinets have lift up lids and opening doors with internal shelves and original lock and key.

They are in nice condition with original lined interior and could be used as smart showpieces on a sideboard or large mantlepiece , otherwise they would be useful as jewellery boxes on a dressing table or chest of drawers.

The main panels are painted with countryside scenes of a shepherdess on one and a boy with a dog and a pipe on the other, the sides are painted with vases of flowers and swags.

They are delightful and very unusual items.
