£580    $777    €679
A very smart Welsh mahogany two-section standing corner cupboard. The top section has a neat cornice above a wide strip of cross-banding with chequerwork stringing, with a pair of glazed doors with reeded bars enclosing a painted shelved interior. The lower section has a pair of gothic-arched flame-mahogany doors and is raised on bracket feet with a shaped apron between.

This is a superior example of the style favoured in the south Wales towns of Llanelli and Swansea, circa 1840.

43½ ins (110.5 cms) wide across centre

19 ins (48 cms) deep externally

83 ins (211 cms) high

Corner cupboards are notoriously difficult to measure, so if you need to fit an exact space, get back with your measurements and I''ll double check.

The width of 43.5 inches is taken right across the front and includes the small side returns which angle backwards.

The depth of 19 inches is the depth from the back corner to the front (with the cornice 19.5 inches)
