E W Cousins and Son has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The frieze below inlaid with garlands of flowers within a satinwood banding flanked by inlaid urn panels. The bowfront glazed door having a strung frame with 2 inlaid fronted shelves to interior flanked by harebell inlaid stiles. The top sitting on inlaid scrolled brackets with bevelled mirrored back in inlaid frames. The top of base having satinwood banded edge over leaf inlaid frieze flanked by scroll inlaid panels all in satinwood frames. The panelled door with strung frame, moulded frame around a satinwood banding surrounding inlays of swags of flowers,grotesque mask,pair of urns a further vase held by pair of Putti with further leaf scrolls. The shaped ends with more swag and ribbon inlays divided by harebell inlaid stiles. The base with strung moulded edge on strung square tapered legs.
