The Case is of Beautiful Burr Walnut and of Good Sensible Proportions.

The 8 Day 5 Pillar Movement is of London Quality and has been Checked, Serviced & Tested - Good & Full Antique Working Order.

Strikes the Hours on the O'clock on a Crisp Clear Bell.

The Brass Dial with Silvered Chapter Ring also Features A Strike/Silent Dial with Gilt Brass Dolphin Adornments and Urn Spandrels to the Corners, typical of the Early 18th Centre. As is the Reeded Hood Columns Being Part of the Hood Door.

Brass Covered Lead Clock Weights

Brian Loomes lists him as working at St James Street circa 1743-52.

(A note attached to the trunk door dates the clock to 1720 (George l era). That he was a Quaker. Died 1740.)?
