Antique Oak Livery Cupboard - Georgian Mid 18th C.

Description

A Georgian mid-18th-century joined oak livery cupboard with a moulded cornice above two fielded cupboard doors with engraved brass H-shaped hinges enclosing an interior with original interior hanging pegs. Below this the base has three further fielded panels with two drawers, both with brass swan neck handles, and is finished on stile feet.

Overall condition is very good with age-related wear and tear. Additionally, we have noted that the rear planks on the top section have been replaced, probably due to damage on the original boards. Looking at their wear and age, this was probably done decades, if not centuries ago.
