Quality Mahogany Antique Georgian Press Cupboard
This quality early 19th century Mahogany Antique Georgian Press Cupboard dates from ca. 1820. It has a moulded top with cross-banded edge above two deep drawers with oval handles. This sits above two cupboard doors with beautifully figured panels and reeded edges along with brass handle, key and working lock. The interior has three sliding linen trays. This wonderful antique press stands on shaped bracket feet, has beautiful charm, character and the Mahogany is a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
