Robert Belcher Antiques has dated this Japanese Bronze Meiji Vase to the 1900s.
A finely cast Japanese bronze vase dating from the Meiji period, circa 1900.

The surface displays an attractive green and russet patina, while the chrysanthemum blooms retain their original gilt finish, providing a striking contrast against the dark bronze. The stems and selected leaves are further enhanced with finely hand-engraved details cut into the surface, demonstrating the high level of craftsmanship characteristic of the period.
