This tall glass vase originates from the Art Deco period around 1930 and follows a distinct geometric style. The piece is constructed from clear, red, black, and yellow glass with applied enamel decoration and acid-etched detailing. The surface displays abstract geometric patterns comprising enamelled arcs, angular lines, and contrasting bands of red, yellow, black, and grey across a tapered square profile. The vessel measures 22 cm high, 13 cm wide, and 8 cm deep, providing a compact footprint suitable for display. It stands in lovely condition with no flaws to note, showing clean enamel surfaces and polished rims. In a modern interior, this vase functions primarily as a decorative display piece on a sideboard top, mantelpiece, or glass-fronted cabinet where natural light can pass through the clear and coloured glass panels. The double-sided decoration allows the piece to be positioned in open spaces or centrepieces to catch attention from multiple angles. It integrates well into mid-century, eclectic, or period-inspired rooms that celebrate graphic motifs and bold primary palettes.

Art Deco glassware from the 1920s and 1930s features bold geometric shapes, stylized angular forms, and vibrant colour palettes influenced by Cubism and modern industrial aesthetics.

Artisans applied powdered glass pigments suspended in oil onto the clear glass surface before firing the vessel at controlled temperatures to fuse the enamel to the glass.

Authentic pieces exhibit crisp geometric enamelling, hand-applied details showing slight organic variations, and light operational surface wear on the base consistent with age.

Position the vessel on a sideboard or window sill where ambient light passes through the translucent glass to display the geometric patterns and contrasting colours.

Wash gently by hand using lukewarm water and mild liquid soap, avoiding abrasive sponges, harsh chemical cleansers, or dishwashers that may degrade surface enamelling.
