Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco glassware from the 1920s and 1930s is characterised by bold geometric shapes, clean lines, and contrasting textures. Makers frequently used techniques like enamelling, acid etching, and frosted finishes to create modern graphic patterns on clear or coloured glass vessels.

These vases were typically crafted from clear or pressed soda-lime glass decorated with fired-on black enamel paints. Acid-etching was also applied to create satin or textured contrast against the polished glass surface.

Authentic pieces often feature crisp geometric cutwork or enamelling, hand-ground flat rim and base finishes, and characteristic graphic motifs associated with regional makers like Karl Palda or glassworks in Novy Bor.

A geometric enamel glass vase functions as a strong graphic accent on a sideboard, console table, or open bookshelf. Positioning it alongside monochromatic items or understated metallic decor complements its structured proportions.

Clean enamel and etched glass gently by hand using lukewarm water and a mild detergent, avoiding abrasive sponges or harsh chemical solutions that could degrade the surface paint. Dishwashers should never be used for decorated glass.
