Marylebone Antiques has dated this Aesthetic Movement Oak Cabinet to the 1880s.
He was also known for his work with Minton on tiles, also on display on this piece.

This is solid oak throughout, the pitched roof is finely carved with incredible detail. The roof tiles have been painstakingly etched and there is also a intricately carved bear at the front. This has shelving and two door cabinet at the bottom, the Minton tiles are stunning and this has exceptionally high quality brass mounts as well.

This is a one of a kind museum quality collectors piece, sympathetically cleaned and oiled to revive but not diminish from the original. The condition is excellent for its age, with just some minor surface wear here and there.
