Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. FAQs

Georgian corner cupboards became popular during the 18th century as a practical solution for utilising awkward room angles in modest and grand homes alike.

These utility pieces were frequently constructed from native softwoods like Scots pine, often featuring hand-planed boards, dovetail joints, and wrought iron hardware.

Authenticity is typically determined by construction methods such as hand-cut joinery, old-growth timber grain, period-correct hinges, and historical surface wear or layered patination.

Positioning the piece in an unused corner allows it to add vertical warmth and textural contrast, balancing modern minimalist schemes with historical character.

Maintain antique pine by avoiding direct sunlight, keeping relative humidity stable, and treating the wood periodically with traditional beeswax rather than modern silicon polishes.
