The tall case contains an arched brass dial featuring an engraved depiction of Old Father Time between dolphin spandrels and ornate spandrels surrounding a silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, original hands, and the inscription Baker Hull. The upper hood has fluted columns flanking an arched glass door, above a long arched trunk door fitted with a small keyhole escutcheon and a key-like handle, opening to reveal the original pendulum and weights. The body terminates in a moulded plinth base with bracket feet. Measuring 230 cm high, 45 cm wide, and 25 cm deep, this vertical timepiece makes a striking focal point in a hallway, library, or living room, operating as a traditional standing clock with an eight-day movement striking on a bell.
