Antique German W�rttemberg Mantel Clock, c.1890A late 19th century German mantel clock, originating from W�rttemberg.The architectural pine case is of attractive design, with a shaped pediment surmounted by an urn finial, carved foliate panel, and turned fluted columns flanking the dial. The glazed front door opens to reveal a decorative dial with Roman numerals, a gilt foliate centre, and blued steel hands.The movement is a one-day mechanism striking the hours on a coiled gong.
