I am delighted to offer another great example of a genuine fusee railway clock from the London Midland and Scotland railway, originally dating from the 1890s. This was previously a London & North Western Railway (1846-1922) clock until 1923 when this railway was amalgamated into the L.M.S as a result of the 1921 Railway Act. There is a mark to the rear of the dial detailing a repair in 1915 (please see photos).The wire-driven fusee eight day movement has rectangular plates with an anchor escapement and has been fully overhauled so benefits from my three year guarantee.The eight inch dial is in lovely condition and has been fully and tastefully restored with ''L.M.S. 11252'' applied to it as found on the dial prior to restoration.
