A fine 18th-century Welsh oak mule chest with a hinged lid opening to a spacious storage compartment. The front and sides are panelled. Raised on stile feet, the chest displays a warm, rich oak patina developed over time.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition with signs of age and use. There is surface wear throughout, including marks and scratches. The top shows some fading. There is evidence of historic woodworm to the base, which has been treated as a precaution, and a historical repair to the base. The lid has some loss, splitting, and scratches consistent with age.
