Sold by: The World is Made of Glass Ltd.

This is a scarce Georgian, English, double series opaque twist goblet dating from the middle of the 18th century, c1765.

The glass is in excellent condition for its age. It shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the foot consistent with some 250 years of use. It has a rough pontil mark on the underside of the foot.

The stem ends in a conical foot which measures 9 cm (3.6 inches) in diameter. The glass is 17.5 cm (7 inches) in height.
