Historical background:

The Sitzendorf Porcelain Factory, founded in 1850 by Wilhelm Liebmann in Thuringia, Germany, became famous for its finely detailed porcelain inspired by Rococo and Baroque styles. Known for its intricate floral applications and ornate designs, Sitzendorf overcame challenges like financial hardships and rebuilding after a fire in 1858 to operate successfully for over a century. Pieces made before 1932 are especially prized by collectors, and Sitzendorf remains celebrated for its craftsmanship and decorative appeal.
