Rene Lalique tete de Paon car mascot
A very nice example of this naturalistic study of a peacock head. The mascot has a nice grey colour with a very subtle amethyst tint.
Judging by the colour its most likely been on the bonnet of a car for part of its life.
The condition is very good. There are a few small chips and two small bruises to the circular base ring where it has been fitted in a radiator mount. Please study the photographs or contact me for clarification. There is also an internal air bubble visible above the R Lalique mark.
Intaglio moulded mark R Lalique along with the moulded mark France in the groove above the base.
