N Wilson Antiques Clocks has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The clock is of wonderful impressive proportions and has 12 inch dial. The movement to this clock is superb being CHAIN fusee. The case is brass which is a lovely rich colour as can be seen from the photographs.

The dial is marked out with Roman numerals, and has lovely shaped fingers. The dial is in lovely original condition. The bezel is brass.
There is a door to the base, which allows the pendulum to be hung and also a door to the side. These are complete with there original little catches which hold the door in place.

The movement itself is a superb quality chain fusee movement. As can be seen from the photographs the movement is nice and clean. The clock is happily ticking away. The clock comes complete with it's pendulum and winding key.

12 inches (30.5 cm) diameter across the dial
6 inches (15 cm) deep

The clock dates to circa 1860 / 1880.
CONDITION:

With regards condition, the clock is in superb condition, as can be seen from the photographs. Just minor marks commensurate with age and careful use. The dial is in lovely original condition and has aged nicely, there are a couple of chips to the dial commensurate with age.

This really is a wonderful and very rare brass cased wall clock which is in lovely condition. It would grace any wall, so happy bidding.
