Pair of French inlaid bedside chests
This pair of French inlaid bedside chests were made circa 1935. Of serpentine and bombe shape.
They are kingwood and inlaid with marquetry to the drawer fronts and sides, using feature panels of the kingwood and then the inlaid flowers to the centre of these. The panels inset to the wide kingwood banding.
They are fitted 2 oak lined drawers and stand on elegant cabriole legs that are mounted with gilt mounts to the knees and toes.
The pair of French inlaid bedside chests have the stunning rouge marble tops.
