Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A drop-dial wall clock, popular during the nineteenth century, features a circular dial face mounted above a lower dropped section or trunk that houses the pendulum.

These clocks were typically constructed from solid woods and veneers such as rosewood and mahogany, featuring brass inlay details, painted enamel dials, and glass pendulum panels.

Authentic pieces exhibit natural grain variation and patina on the rosewood casing, hand-painted Roman numerals, brass bezel fittings, and mechanical pendulum movements rather than modern quartz components.

Position the clock as a focal piece in a hallway, home office, or living room, mounting it on a neutral backdrop to highlight the wood grain and brass accents.

Dust the exterior casing regularly with a soft dry cloth, keep the wood away from direct heat sources to prevent cracking, and have the mechanical movement lubricated by a qualified horologist.
