Masons Antiques has dated this Rosewood Drop Dial Clock to the 1860s.
There is a brass surrounded glazed aperture through which the pendulum can be seen operating. The carving to the side "ears" is particularly attractive.

The 12", white painted dial has black Roman numerals and finely cut hands with a cast brass bezel. It is signed "T. Vallance". (Believed of Liverpool).
The 8 day, fusee movement has just been fully overhauled by our Bhi registered horologist and carries our usual 12mths full parts and labour guarantee.
A very smart looking clock in first class order and ready to go straight to work.
