Small Edwardian Display Cabinet

An exceptionally pretty small display cabinet of the highest quality in beautifully well-figured satinwood. This stunning cabinet - that boasts the highest levels of British craftsmanship - is comprised of a central convex door flanked by glazed concave fixed panels. With its original fully-functional lock and key, the door opens to allow access to a display interior that has two shaped shelves. There are four solid-mahogany-lined bow-fronted drawers with their original handles, all supported by gently tapering legs with spade feet. The two outer leg supports are cleverly positioned slightly forward of the main carcass to bridge over skirting boards which, in turn, allows the cabinet to sit right back against the wall. All glazing is original and in incredible condition with no cracks. The interior''s lining material is old - possibly original - and is in perfectly serviceable condition.
