This set of eight Victorian dessert wine glasses comes in clear glass with etched fruiting vine patterns around the bowls, slice cut stems descending to a supporting collar, and feet with polished pontil marks. Each glass measures 12 cm high, 7 cm wide, and 7 cm deep. They suit traditional home settings such as a dining room sideboard top, where they can be used practically for serving dessert wines or aperitifs during meals and gatherings. The Victorian style vessels present a coordinated table arrangement with matching heights and proportions suited for formal dining displays. Their robust clear material and detailed etching catch the ambient light on a tabletop surface, bringing an authentic period look into a contemporary dining space. They offer functional serving capacity while adding classic English country house character to display shelving or drinks cabinets.

Victorian etched glassware from the 19th century typically features intricate surface patterns, such as vine scrolls or botanical motifs, applied to slender glass stems using acid-etching methods.

Pieces from this era were manufactured using clear soda-lime glass or lead crystal, shaped via hand-blowing before undergoing chemical etching or mechanical wheel engraving.

Authentic period stemware often displays subtle hand-crafted irregularities, slight pontil marks at the base, gentle surface wear around the foot rim, and finely rendered etched details.

Arranging a set of etched glasses on a dining room sideboard top or inside a glazed cabinet creates a textured, historical focal point that contrasts with modern minimalist tableware.

Hand wash each piece individually in lukewarm water using mild liquid detergent, avoiding dishwasher use which can cause clouding or thermal shock damage.
