Graingers was a prominent Worcester-based pottery manufacturer operating during the 19th century, later absorbed by Royal Worcester, known for high-quality porcelain and innovative manufacturing techniques.

Reticulated porcelain involves carefully piercing or cutting away portions of the unfired clay body to create intricate, lace-like openwork patterns, often enhanced with hand-applied gilding.

Authenticity is typically verified through factory backstamps, impressed marks, stylistic characteristics of the period, and the distinct quality of the paste and hand-finishing.

These delicate decorative objects can be displayed as focal points on mantels, sideboards, or enclosed cabinets, pairing well with neutral backdrops that highlight their intricate openwork texture.

Antique porcelain should be dusted gently with a soft, dry brush and washed by hand only when necessary using lukewarm water and mild soap, avoiding harsh chemicals or immersion in water if crazing is present.
