We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

Victorian glassware encompasses pieces produced during the reign of Queen Victoria, characterised by diverse manufacturing techniques, ornate detailing, and vibrant colours achieved through various mineral additives.

Cranberry glass is created by adding gold chloride to molten glass to produce its distinctive pinkish-red hue, often shaped using blown or pressed glass techniques.

Authenticity is identified through characteristics such as pontil marks on the base, minor irregularities from hand-production, specific weight, and period-accurate colour saturation.

Antique stemware can be integrated into contemporary dining settings by mixing period pieces with minimalist tableware or displaying them within glass-fronted cabinets to add colourful accents.

Antique glass should be washed by hand in lukewarm water using mild detergent and dried carefully with a lint-free cloth, avoiding dishwashers and sudden temperature changes.
