Antique Victorian Ebonised and Gilt Pier Display Cabinet C1880 Wdb6188/13.12

Description

Lovely antique victorian ebonised and gilt pier cabinet with jasper ware medallion and dating from aorund 1880. It has a moulded edge to the top above a deep frieze with satinwood stringing either side of a central jasper ware plaque. There is a single glazed door within a strung frame and internally is lined with original cobalt blue velvet with two shelves. It has strung panels to either side of the door with gilt mounts and standing on a shaped plinth base.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination oozing the charm and character of the period.

Measures:41" high X 13" deep X internal depth 9.5" X 30" wide
