Description

A 19th Century miniature French commode. Beautifully proportioned and constructed in oak, this lovely piece stands on scroll feet with a shaped apron, above which are three shaped and molded drawers with original handles and escutcheons. The ends are paneled and the top is held in place with wooden pegs. Constructed in the same manner as its full size cousin, this is a fine example of craftsmanship. Retaining a good colour and waxed patina. 360mm high, 430mm wide and 230mm deep. French. Circa 1860.
