I have for sale an 1890 French cloisonné enamel masked dial carriage clock made in France which has been fully restored in both movement and case in December 2022.
This is a genuine French carriage clock, not a modern reproduction.
The Case
The case is in solid brass and stands 19cm high x 9cm wide with a depth of 8cm it is in mint perfect condition with mint thick beveled glass front and top viewing glass.
The enamel bandings run right around the top and bottom plus all four pillars and the top plate which is quite a rare feature on these clocks.
The Dial
The dial is in untouched original condition with Arabic numerals and the original ornate moon hands are housed in a beautiful enamel mask highlighted with brass stringing simply stunning.
The Movement
The movement is an eight-day time and strikes so strikes the hours , the movement has been ultrasonically cleaned, hand polished, serviced, and oiled so keeping a great time over the eight days via the pla

Overall a very rare beautiful quality carriage clock by a quality French maker that looks stunning on display and contains all of its original features this is quite a rare find these days.
