Description

A large oak tambour fronted stationery cabinet. The tambour rolls up to reveal a series of compartments for holding papers and letters, with pen rest and inkwell compartments. To the top is a perpetual desk calendar with winding knobs. There is also a large drawer with brass handle, originally would have been held in place by a metal pin (now absent). There is also one letter shelf missing as illustrated.

In excellent untouched condition, showing a great patina with expectant signs of use and wear. The calendar works and the whole piece presents very well.
