Original Retro has dated this Antique Decanter Campaign Box to the 18th Century.
This is a lovely officers decanter campaign set from the late 18th century.
There are four large and, two medium and six smaller decanters, measuring approx. including the stopper 23cm for the large,
21.5cm for the middle and 15cm for the small.
All the decanters have also a number on the neck.
The decanters are fitted in a mahogany chest, which has a handle at either side, an original lock and key.
The inside of the chest is divided in felt lined compartments and is papered with the original 18th c. paper, the lid of the chest has
a blue velvet patch to protect the small decanters of moving about during transport.
The measurements of the chest are approx. 42cm x 27.5cm x 28.5cm
