Bow Fronted Mahogany Display Cabinet by Shapland & Petter C.1910.

Description

Edwardian mahogany bow front display cabinet on stand by the celebrated cabinet makers Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple c.1910. Half moon shaped cabinet with a single door and glazed front featuring 35 individual glass panels. Fitted inside with four shelves arranged in line with the glazing bars (the fronts of the top three shelves with cutaways to allow for a taller object) and lined in a green patterned flat weave fabric. Moulded cornice with dental carving and a blind fretwork frieze. Carved base moulding and raised on an open stand with four fluted legs joined with a low display shelf. Original handle and lock stamped S&P B. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
