A Matched Pair of Gillows Bedside Cabinets

Description

A fine quality, matched pair of Gillows bedside cabinets. In dense mahogany the cabinets are raised on square tapered legs which are united by under tiers and above which is a single cupboard (with both doors bearing the Gillow stamp). The tops have a molded edge, frieze under and a fretted back rail. The cabinets have fine gilt highlights which include carved and gilded harebells down the legs. In good and original condition. 880mm high, 380mm wide and 360mm deep. Circa 1885.
