Superb late Victorian / Edwardian craftsmanship! Here we have an extremely well made and intricately constructed walnut veneered, and inlaid side cabinet formed of two sections. The top section has a broken arch pediment over a back panel with three bevelled mirror plates and a central glazed two door cupboard, all supported with elegant turned columns. The base has a single drawer, a large central recess flanked by two cupboards and a base shelf, all supported on elegant turned legs. The cabinet is profusely inlaid throughout with urn and swag detail and is a great example of the best of cabinet making during this period. This piece is in unbelievable original condition & is at the very top of the quality range for this type of furniture, if you need one of these, this is the one!
