ANTIQUE #SA882147

Very Fine Convex Dial Wall Clock.

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: Its About Time

William Watkins was born in January 1826 and became a clockmaker in the town of Chepstow, Monmouthshire, Wales. This fine clock with a wonderful 12'' convex dial and original blued steel hands has a substantial fusee movement in quite a unique shape. The Mahogany case is well preserved and has two side doors and the lower convex door held with a lock and key. The cast brass bezel is the original and held with a latch. The photos really don''t quite get across how attractive this wall clock is. If you can pop in to our shop and see this in real life ...we don''t think you''ll be walking out empty handed!

As seen on T.V. Salvage Hunters - The Restorers ! Please remember we are closed Sundays and Mondays, open every other day from 9am until 5pm . If we have not responded to an email, we may not have received it...please call or whatsapp us as well.
