Here we have an outstanding and very rare Victorian Oak shop display cabinet c1880. As you can see the cabinet has fantastic colour and patina. We have never seen this configuration before and believe this to be a commissioned piece and therefore unique. The cabinet splits into three sections making this very easy to move around. The top section has a moulded pediment and two glass doors with glass side panels and a mirrored back. Internally there is beautiful brass tracking and two glass shelves. More shelves can be made if required. As with this entire cabinet every effort has been made to get light in to the display space with glass in as many places as possible. The middle section is a glass rectangular piece with a lift up lid. Again there is maximum glass in this section and a mirrored base. The bottom section has two glass doors and internal glass shelves and again side glass panels. All the English Oak timbers are quarter sawn showing off the medullary rays within the Oak. This is a super quality period cabinet perfect for the collector and in fantastic retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 201 cm high 130 cm wide 52 cm deep.
