Description

Here we have a wonderful English fine quality display cabinet in the French taste c1890. As you can see the cabinet has great colour and patina. There is a pagoda top with a beautiful peirced brass gallery edge. There is beautiful inlay throughout in Box and Satinwood. There is original glass to both sides and the front. The front glass has a stunning shape and brass beaded surround. The shelves are lined in crushed velvet with inlaid Mahogany fronts. With glazing on three sides there is plenty of light coming in to the cabinet to maximise the view of items displayed. There are fantastic cabriole shaped legs with ormolu mounts to the knees and feet. The original working lock and key are also in place. A super period cabinet of compact proportions in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 152 cm high 67 cm wide 40 cm deep.
