The base having a burr walnut top with a moulded edge, three superior burr walnut panelled doors to the centre and repeated to the sides which display truly majestic finely carved pierced oval walnut panels, these can only be described as an exquisite example of craftsmanship and design of the highest standard. It stands proudly on an elegantly shaped plinth.

This exceptional piece is in all probability a unique masterpiece and although unsigned would have undeniably been designed and crafted by one of the finest cabinet makers of the 19th Century most certainly the likes of Gillows of Lancaster & London or Lamb of Manchester. The craftsmanship, design, colour and patination being exquisite.
