Superb quality Edwardian antique! What a thing ! This is a one of the very few Edwardian combination bureau display bookcases on the market today. This exceptionally high-quality piece has a wealth of features. The bureau section features an inlaid drop down front, which opens to reveal a subdivided interior with pigeonholes and a central draw. The base of the bureau has unusual serpentine drawer over two further straight fronted draws. To the side of the bureau section is a wonderful bow front glazed door, which opens to a shelved interior. The cabinet has two further doors with applied fretwork detail and a mirrored recess. This cabinet does everything, ‘ticks all the boxes’ & would easily fit into a smaller modern room & still offer complete functionality.
