Beautifully detailed with small circular beading. The clock has a visible escapement with a silver dial depicting Arabic numerals, also a signature of J Wilkinson, 24 old bond st. London. The clock has a bevelled edged glass door and there are two key holes . To the top of the clock there is a barometer with a silver dial and also the compass , again covered by a circular bevelled edge glass. The movement is a fine French movement striking on a gong with an eight day duration.
