It is of lovely tall slim proportions and would fit into an alcove beautifully. This fine antique bookcase has a swan neck pediment above an astragal glazed door with key and working lock, the interior has two shelves. Below is bow fronted with two Mahogany lined drawers and super quality brass handles. This fine bookcase stands on four tapering legs with spade feet and has a lower tier. It splits into two sections for removal and the Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
