This fine antique pier cabinet has a beautifully figured top with ebonized edge above a beautiful inlaid frieze, has two glazed doors with key and decorative brass ormolu fittings along with beautifully inlaid sides. The interior comprises of two removable shelves with the original velvet linings and this beautiful cabinet stands elegantly on a plain plinth. The walnut is a golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
