Victorian Oak Apprentice Chest of Drawers

Description

A late Victorian oak miniature chest of drawers or antique jewellery chest.

This very attractive little chest has four drawers, stands on square plinth base and is in excellent condition throughout, no issues at all, a good example.

Measuring 34 cm high x 34 cm wide x 17 cm deep, it would originally have been made by an apprentice to show off his skills or used as a sample by a travelling salesman. It would make a fantastic ladies jewellery box or for your collection of small antique silver pieces.
