Description

A superb collectors cabinet from the renown workshops of Shapland & Petter of Barnstable. The top having a swan neck pediment with line inlay and gilded brass roundels above the breakfront wellington chest centre which has a locking pilaster and wonderful inlaid frieze. The 10 graduated drawers with mahogany linings and sunken brass pulls with open book shelves to either side. The lower section having beautifully inlaid doors which open to reveal a further 6 graduated drawers with boxwood line inlay and original brass handles. The whole raised on short Queen Anne style legs.

This cabinet is in excellent original condition throughout and would make an ideal home for a fine collection of watches or other collectables and is of the quality expected from Shapland & Petter.
