A stunning and large 17th.Century Antwerp table cabinet having applied red stained tortoiseshell and intricate brass work with ebony mouldings. The two doors open to reveal 10 drawers and 2 doors which conceal the theatre which is composed of mirrors, checkerboard ground made with tortoiseshell and ivory with gilded columns. There is a full width partitioned drawer below the doors.The ebony sides having raised panels with further tortoiseshell inlay, ivory stringing and retaining the original handles. In very good restored condition. Dimensions:- Height…37.75’’/96cm. Width…47’’/ 119.5cm. Depth…20’’/ 51cm.
