Regency Period Mahogany Side Cabinet with Marble Top

19th century
Description

A good decorative Regency period mahogany glazed and curtained door side cabinet. The later marble top of rich and vibrant colour and grain, above two glazed doors enclosing a cupboard with shelves and flanked by turned pilasters with scrolled capitals.

(Originally, this would have been the base section of a taller bookcase. The top section is now missing).

Condition is un-restored. needs some cosmetic tidying up, especially on left hand corner of plinth - see photo.
